Event information
Tenth Electric- Big boombastic 80s sounding power ballad rock .. Killers via Ultravox.. a bit of funk too and mix it up with some techy dance music touches... 'anthemic' chorusesagogo.
Eli Stone- Pop with a funk/soul informed backdrop, some nice light touch playing, like Crosby Stills and Nash (layered West Coasting voices hither thither) getting it together with Shuggie Otis and the end result is cool as..a stoned, groovy easy on the ear soft rock groovy kinda shtick. Can also fly into a more up-tempo and more indie rocking place, a bit Beck in places.
Cats On The Beach-New wave pop with driving guitars and insistent melodies, bit like the Only Ones, but with a louche Pete Doherty-esque vocal and some well placed mournful trumpet on their less edgy slower tunes.
Shambala- Exhuberent indie pop with catchy sing along choruses and sort of West Coast acid pop otherworldly vibe, Lightning Seeds via Kula Shaker with Beatlesey harmonies, very pop, radiofriendly and well executed dude.
