WEMBA4Charity was setup 2 years ago by a group of Imperial College Executive MBA students and run annual events to raise money for charity. This year, WEMBA4Charity are organising a Dragon Boat Race to raise money for the charity StreetDoctors (http://streetdoctors.org/).
Two boats have been hired for the race, and each boat holds between 10-20 people. All equipment will be provided (life jackets, paddles, helms - person who steers the boat, and a caller). Training will be provided on how to paddle in and out of water before the race. Changing/Shower facilities are available on site. Format of the race will be decided on the day and is dependent on the number of people who sign up. Minimum age on the boat is 16. No previous rowing experience required.
Event is opened to Imperial College MBA students, alumni and their friends/family.
£10 from every ticket sold will be donated to StreetDoctors.
