A choral programme loosely themed around Old Testament texts, including words from the Song of Songs and Psalms. The music ranges from the 16th century polyphony of Victoria to British composers such as Elgar, Bairstow and Stanford.
The central work - "Night" - is a substantial piece for soprano solo, choir and organ, by choir member Alison Duncan, with texts by William Blake and from Isaiah, Psalms and Revelation weaving through the rich choral textures.
