Kate Rogers Band- Ex singer of Manchester act Aim (although she comes from Canada) and the voice on Rae & Christian's "Not Just Anybody" this is countrified Indie Folk in the vein of Beth Orton via Gillian Welch, fantastic voice, really catchy up-lifting tunes, good stuff. Straw Bear- folk pop that references Fleet Foxes via a late 60's Brit psych-folk thing, Caravan to be precise! Also a bit of Belle And Sebastian like sardonic pop fragility. Much welcome, really well executed and nicely melodic tunes.
