Grass Route are proud to present US Blues Expert Lincoln Durham who as part of his forthcoming European Tour will be playing a one-off spectacular in the intimate surroundings of The Green Room, Stockton. Lincoln has been selling out venues all across the Atlantic and we expect him to do the same over here and especially TEESSIDE!!!

*LINCOLN DURHAM*

He hails from the hills of southwest Texas and his music was raised on the roots of bluegrass and blues. Young tyro bluesman Lincoln Durham has the whiskery mien and gravelly voice of an old black man several times his age, and the sensibility to match.

Durham plays antique guitars – one 1929 model has a "wooden cone resonator" – with a febrile ferocity akin to Son House, his driving rhythms tempered occasionally by wistful harmonica, and his springy slide-guitar riffs developing a scudding momentum that recalls Seasick Steve.

A battered old bastardized gibson guitar, gravel, grit, mud, Fred McDowell, red skies, wood shack, dry bones and a locket Of a woman who's much too good fo a man are all part of the visionary world of Lincoln Durham

Dirty, filthy, Boro Blues courtesy of Huntsville who are making waves and getting a good buzz. Playing a Special Acoustic Set, They are one of the reasons Grass Route get loads of texts through recommending them after they have played and infiltrated people with said dirty blues. Smashed a few 4PLAYs with Grass Route and last seen with us Supporting Glastonbury Legends Tankus The Henge at March's UP2U Night.

*CLUB OF ROME*
Grass Route bezzas Club of Rome come back to have another buzz. After spending a little time away to finally record some goodies for the ever waiting peeps the boys are back. Club of Rome smash out some dark acoustic tales. Armed with 1 X Electric, 1 X Acoustic, Numerous Stomp Boxes and load of buzzes Club of Rome will tell you dark stories which are intertwined with heart warming music. Previously played the likes of Stockton Calling. Next stop here with you!
