Babajack is an acoustic blues/roots/fusion band from Malvern. But don't be fooled by 'acoustic' - these guys rock! Their groove, rhythm and percussive upbeat sound is addictive. They always give 100% with passion, energy and dedication. But above all, it is the quality of delivery that has to be experienced!

They are instrumentalists with a difference. They have taken on the early blues ethos of making their own instruments: Trevor Steger's home made Wine Box Guitars are a real feature of their sound with their distinctive deep growl and he also plays Dobro resonator and acoustic guitars and rack harmionica; Becky Tate has a powerful and lyrical vocal, and she is also the percussionist playing stomp Box, African Drum, and Cajon for which she won INSTRUMENTALIST OF THE YEAR in the BRITISH BLUES AWARDS 2012!

As a band they are sometimes accompanied by Marc Miletitch on bowed and plucked double bass. BABAJACK very also RUNNERS UP in Best Acoustic Act category of the British Blues Awards. You are in for blues/roots with energy, passion and originality!

Trev and Bec are the songwriters in the band. They mix their original material with two or three of the powerful classics of the early blues era. If you're a blues fan, you won't be dissappointed, if you're a rock fan, you'll find yourself liking this a lot, and if you don't like either of those, you'll be joining those people who have said 'It's not what I usually listen to, but I love it!'
