Alan Glenn started playing harmonica after hearing Muddy Waters at folk-blues festivals. He has played at the Montreux & Nice Jazz Festivals, and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as on TV & radio.
Blues music continues to inspire Steve Morrison though his technique and writing place him as an original. He looked to other instruments to create his own guitar sound.
The Crispy Hot Club's music is inspired in part by Django Reinhardt's Hot Club de France. It's members are:
- Bernard Greenwood: classically trained violinist.
- Simon Goodwin: studied Jazz Guitar at Goldsmiths College.
- Andy Ruiz Palma: bass player who specialises in 1930s jazz.
