In a career which has spanned some three decades, Kiki Deeís impeccable vocal abilities have established her as one of the UKís finest singers. She has covered all bases, from classic soul renditions to a repertoire which includes eight UK Top 40 hits as well as masterful performances in major West End musicals. Kiki began her career in the 1960s, working as a session vocalist with the likes of Dusty Springfield. Her early solo recordings of US soul tracks attracted the attention of executives from the legendary Tamla Motown, and Kiki became the first European artist to be signed to the label. Despite widespread critical acclaim, commercial success remained elusive until 1973 when she joined Elton Johnís label, Rocket Records. Amoureuse became Kikiís first top 20 hit, but it was her 1976 duet with Elton, Donít Go Breaking My Heart, which propelled her to super stardom, topping the charts in both the UK and the USA. In the 1980s she became a successful West End actress, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her role in Blood Brothers, before returning to the top of the charts with True Love in 1993. Kiki will perform an intimate acoustic set with guitarist Carmelo Luggeri who has collaborated with the likes of Andy Williams and Julian Lennon.
