A welcome return visit for these two masters of the blues! We were lucky enough to have them as our guests on the opening night at the Pack o' Cards, and could only sit with our mouths open (and our feet tapping!) at the skill they showed. A fine singer and guitarist, Pete Harris is recognised as one of the foremost blues men on the South Coast of England, from which he chooses to stray infrequently these days, although he has gigged extensively in the UK and Europe. Blueprint Magazine says that he is a "guitar player of deceptive skill and emotional depth" whose "playing appeals to the head and to the feet". The versatility and sheer brilliance of Hugh Budden's harp playing has given him a reputation as one of the South's best harmonica players. With a career that has spanned the spectrums of both music and continents, he has developed a highly individual style of playing. The combination of these two hugely talented musicians and singers sets us up for a very special and entertaining evening!
