Ex-Christians, ex-Yachts songwriter Henry Priestman brings his beautiful, insightful songs to the incredibly intimate and stunning Cruck Barn in Appletreewick. Henry has had an astonishing career in the music industry; writing a top 5 hit for Take That's Mark Owen, supporting The Sex Pistols and The Who on tour while in Yachts, writing all the songs on The Christian's platinum-selling debut album, working with It's Immaterial, Paul McCartney, 10 cc's Graham Gouldman, and many more luminaries. More recently Henry has established himself as a solo artist, with his debut album The Chronicles Of Modern Life being initially released on Stiff Records, then picked up by Universal Records and being very successful and garnering Henry lots of airplay on Radio 2. From writing songs for James Bond computer games to touring with Fisherman's Friends, Henry's amazing CV has turned him into the brilliant performer that he is today! Support comes from local-ish heroes Plumhall, the in-demand roots duo consisting of Michelle Plum (ex-Chumbawamba) and Nick B Hall (Hall Brothers) whose long-awaited debut album on Splid Records/Proper Distribution will be available at the show! A gig not to be missed!
