Andrew Foster is an established musician from Hampshire who's songmanship has seen him receive notable air time on BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Solent. In addition he can be seen touring regularly throughout the UK with various artists across the musical spectrum: from Mumford & Sons, Charlene Soraia, Terry Reid and Gemma Hayes to Natalie Imbruglia, Hard Fi, McFly and Amy McDonald.
Pushing the boundary of all that encompasses a solo performer and with lyrics honed from a keen perception of the world around him, Andrew's sublime contemporary sound has been described by Acoustic Magazine as 'A make-believe world that draws you in like an old fairground or moonlit pathway, preferring to stay away from the normal lyrical themes of one man and guitar, instead choosing to create a psychedelic landscape in which to immerse yourself in. Optimism and hope but also celebrating the fear of the human experience, Andrew isn't the usual troubadour songwriter'.
'Science and Magic', Andrew's latest studio album was produced by Pete Maher (U2, Beady Eye) and launched at the infamous venue, The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth. This album, along with Andrew's extensive catalogue of work continues to receive plaudits from musical contemporaries and critics.
