Ages 10+ A panel of top authors all contributors to a new anthology Daughters of Time discuss the cause of women's rights through the ages and the great British women who played a leading role in it. The anthology includes stories of some of Great Britain's most famous women told through fresh eyes. They include the stories of Queen Boudicca Aethelfled Eleanor of Aquitaine Julian of Norwich Lady Jane Grey Elizabeth Stuart Aphra Behn Mary Wollestonecraft Mary Anning Mary Seacole Emily Davison Amy Johnson and the Greenham Common women.Mary Hoffman is editor of the anthology and author of more than 90 books for children including the picture book Amazing Grace and the Stravaganza series of fantasy novels and historical novels. Celia Rees is a writer for teenagers with an international reputation. Her novel Witch Child is widely read in secondary schools and was included in the Booktrust's Ultimate List: The 100 Best Children's Books published in the last 100 years. Leslie Wilson writes novels and short stories for adults and children. Her novel about the Holocaust Saving Rafael was nominated for the Carnegie Medal.
