TOM HINGLEY BAND are a three piece dirty electric Blues band - think Bowie's Tin Machine (but with songs), think The Jimi Hendrix Experience played by Frank Spencer? You get the idea. Tom Hingley was lead singer with Inspiral Carpets from 1989 -2011 (AKA the years that mattered) and after 38 years of playing music he has returned to his roots by strapping on an electric guitar - now there is an even bigger onstage sound than his voice! Playing songs from Tom's new album Paper, the Tom Hingley Band also feature Ste Pearce (ex Sam Smith and Co) on bass and Malc Law (ex Silent Partners, plus his Dad runs the pub where they rehearse....) on drums www.facebook.com/TomHingleyMusic

LOS LADRONES DE AMOR (The Thieves of Love) are raw, mostly acoustic and angry. Their melodic, lyrical songs are full of sleaze and soul and a bit of black humour, stoking the burning embers of punk with grooves that have been described as 'Latin Noir'. Los Ladrones are: Kev Saunders - vocals, Ed Brown - acoustic guitar/vocals, Jonathan Miller - Acoustic bass/double bass, Kelvin Fuhr - Piano/organ/vocals and Arup Ghosh - Drums/vocals. They've all got previous: Kev Saunders as singer/writer with 80s punk funkers Helium Brothers, Acid jazz/trip hop pioneers Marden Hill, blunted beat specialists Sly, Big Beat instigators Beamish & Fly, HedKandi Chill Out groovers Spacehoppa and Japanese guitar hero Takashi O'Hashi among many others; Jonathan Miller as platinum disc-winning producer of Portuguese bands such as Madre Deus, The Delfins and The Underground Sound of Lisbon (Rui Da Silva) and original bassist with Toyah, Ed Brown with Gothic harp and guitar outfit Schrodinger's!
Strings, Arup Ghosh in agitpunk band The Blissetts and Jesus Hooligan and Kelvin Fuhr as a session pianist, songwriter and veteran of the northern club circuit. So, OK, spring chickens they ain't - but they sing and play like their lives depend on it. "Unlike a lot of bands our age, we're not peddling fake teenage angst - we're singing about who we are right here, right now! And we mean it." www.losladronesdeamor.co.uk

Slide guitarist & songwriter DAVE ARCARI's alt.blues sounds owe as much to trash country, punk and rockabilly as they do pre-war Delta blues and have been showcased via eight internationally acclaimed solo CD releases. His latest album - Whisky in my Blood - was released on Finnish record label Blue North in March 2013. As well as showcasing Arcari's trademark National steel guitars, the release features performances on banjo, regular guitar and and cigar box which help capture the full breadth of Arcari's song-writing and performance. Arcari's debut US tour - six weeks, 30 shows and 7000 miles taking in the east coast, Tennessee and the mid-West - in summer 2013 was an overwhelming success and the foundations laid for future tours across the US. Arcari's festival appearances include Glastonbury (UK); Peer Festival (Belgium); Moulin Blues (Netherlands); BluesAlive (Czech Republic & Poland shows); The Great British R&B Festival; and Augustibluus & ViruFolk!
(Estonia). He has also played industry showcases at the North by North East (NxNE) music festival in Toronto, Canada and he was a finalist the UK Indy Music Awards reaching the top four in his category (best male solo artist) With more than 100 UK dates a year plus regular shows in Finland, Estonia, France, Germany, Belgium, Poland and Canada, Arcari is one of the hardest gigging live artists on the circuit. A series of shows with folks including Steve Earle, Alabama 3, Seasick Steve, Toby Keith and Jon Spencer along with his relentless UK and European tour schedule have established Arcari as a formidable international solo performer who is fast building a media reputation as a 'hell-raising National guitar madman'. www.davearcari.com

The TWIRLING CANES are a song writing duo from Hertfordshire, combining just two electric guitars & vocals to create haunting, ambient soundscapes. www.reverbnation.com/thetwirlingcanes
