We welcome back the one and only Henry Priestman after a truly remarkable visit last year from this brilliant performer. One of the most fun nights we have had.
As the songwriter behind the band The Christians, Henry achieved huge success across the world with a string of classic hits including 'Hooverville', 'When The Finger Points', 'Ideal Worlds', 'Forgotten Town' and 'Born Again'. Leaving the band to embark on a career as a producer and songwriter for hire, he achieved success with a diverse range of projects including producing Take That's Mark Owen, writing for 10CC's Graham Gouldman, penning various theme tunes for the BBC and writting the music for the hit musical 'Dreamboats and Petticoats'.
Henry found himself the unlikely voice of the 'Gray' generation when his debut solo album 'Grey's The New Blonde' was released on the legendary Stiff Records, the first label he signed to many moons ago with his band The Yachts, before being snapped up by Island records. The songs 'Grey's the New Blonde', 'Don't You Love Me No More' and 'It's Called a Heart' were radio hits being playisted by radio 2.
Henry releases his new album 'The Last Mad Surge of Youth' in February 2014, with the album already gaining rave reviews from the press.
This will be another amazing night from one of the most likable, funny and brilliant songwriters around. Tables can be booked in advance for food by contacting the venue.
