The Winchell Riots

Rarely does a band make a name for themselves this quickly. Formed from the ashes of the much-missed Fell City Girl the band have sold out all their Oxford shows so far well in advance, played their second ever show to 800 people at Truck Festival, caused a near riot in London as people tried to get hold of free tour CD\'s, and, following a huge UK tour in January, the band return to Oxford to play in support of the \'Histories\' EP - their debut release - as part of a national tour.

Her Name is Calla

Handpicked by iLikeTrains to support them across the UK last year, followed up by a handful of dates with The Twilight Sad, HNIC return to Oxford as part of another huge tour. Drowned in Sound reckon they \"simply ooze breathtaking ingenuity\" and we reckon they\'re one of the best live bands we\'ve seen in years. Epic, monumental, beautiful, hugely ambitious. Not to be missed.

This Et Al

Leeds 4-piece This Et Al released their debut album \'Baby Machine\'in early 2007 to rave reviews. They\'re a difficult band to describe - at once part of the post-punk scene, at the same time they thrown down huge, sprawling riffs atop Kevin Shields style soundscapes: if My Bloody Valentine could dance, this\'d be the end result. Dance To The Radio, Double Dragon and Xtra Mile Records all loved them enough to release records, and we love them enough to get them down for tonight\'s show. This is their year. Or, as they would say, \"this is not an opinion, this is common sense\".
