The first ‘showcase’ performances of this new chamber opera lasting about 60 minutes. A dysfunctional family in period costume gatecrashes a theatre determined to stage their own drama - but first they need to convince the Director that it’s all for real. We are drawn into a tragic tale of incest, murder and suicide worthy of any opera while the torments that afflict the characters are lived through as they re-enact them - with results that are poignant but absurd. A wonderful cast of singer/actors brings this confusion vividly to life.
