RICHMOND: Crawdaddy Club

FRI 28TH NOV, 2014 Doors at 8pm

We are proud to welcome back British Blues Award 2014 Female Vocalist of the Year, Jo Harman with The Southern Soul Connection, a collective of likeminded friends including another BBA Award winner, Steve Watts (Keyboard player of the Year).

She is the standout female singer/songwriter of the past twelve months and more. Her debut album 'Dirt on my Tongue' was received by critical acclaim by both the specialist music magazines as well as some national press. She has also just released her second album, the very special 'Live from The Albert Hall' recorded by the BBC at last year's Bluesfest. She not only won the vocalist of the year accolade, but was runner in the songwriter category with her co-writer Mike Davis.

It's her live performances which have gained her such a loyal following and is the reason she in such huge demand at Festivals throughout the UK and Europe. Her 'Friends' are made up of a world class collection of musicians who have worked with artists such as Jo Cocker, BB King, Mark Knopfler, Steve Winwood, Lionel Richie to name just a few.

We are delighted that she has chosen The Crawdaddy Club as the only London area stop as part of her mini tour of small, intimate venues.

Her appearance here in 2013 was the highlight of our year. This gig is likely to even surpass that very special evening.
