Award nominated Idle Motion’s stunning piece of theatre tells the untold stories of Bletchley Park and extraordinary genius Alan Turing. An insightful celebration of Britain’s greatest minds and how they saved a nation.

During World War Two, the grounds of Bletchley Park housed some of Britain’s greatest minds. Alongside Alan Turing and Gordon Welchman, thousands of gifted men and women lived and worked together in this eccentric country house.

Decades later, as Bletchley’s secrets begin to be known, another group of ground breaking volunteers gather to save the home of the Enigma code breakers. This piece integrates personal testimony and multimedia technology to celebrate humanity’s determination to crack the impossible code and save thousands of lives in war.

Developed in association with The Lowry, Jacksons Lane, Greenwich Theatre and Redbridge Drama Centre, Total Theatre Award nominated Idle Motion are one of the country’s leading visual theatre companies who tour nationally and internationally to critical acclaim. With their trademark inventive staging and captivating storytelling, That is All You Need to Know is an insightful, innovative and immersive celebration of the people whose hidden heroism changed the course of history.
