Matthew Hedley Stoppard was born in Derbyshire and lives in Leeds with his wife and children, where he works as a library assistant. His debut collection of poetry, A Family behind Glass, is published by Valley Press and was included in the The Guardian Readers' Books of the Year. His poems and short stories feature in magazines and anthologies, both in print and online, and on green vinyl disc released by Adult Teeth Recording.

Steve Nash is the winner of the 2014 Saboteur Award for Best Spoken Word Performer, beating Kate Tempest on the final shortlist. He's a writer, lecturer, and musician based in Yorkshire, and his first collection, 'Taking the Long Way Home' from Stairwell Books, has been called 'the work of a rare artist with a fire in his head'. His performances were recently described in Ryburn Ramblings as: 'By turns lyrical, thought-provoking, and explosively funny'. Despite Steve's work being widely and internationally published in many reputable journals and magazines, zombies and homicidal bunnies are an ever-present danger when he's given a microphone

the junkyard procession is a D.I.Y online arts and poetry magazine. The aim of the night is to bring live music and poetry with pop up art exhibitions that last for one night only.
