An evening of good old-fashioned classic rawk n roll, headlined by one of the country’s top AC/DC tributes - Thunderstruck. With support from live favourites Stated Quo, Hazzard County and upcoming youngsters Blind White Shadows
Thunderstruck have been blowing audiences around the UK away (literally in some instances!) with their faithful recreation of the classic AC/DC sound for a number of years now, blasting out those adrenaline-driven classic tunes spanning the 35+ year career of probably the greatest rock n roll band of all time.
Using the same equipment and instruments as the masters themselves, this band present an all action stage show, spanning High Voltage through to Black Ice, as the continuing legacy of Angus and Malcolm Young, Bon Scott and Brian Johnson is given due reverence - close your eyes, imagine you’re at Wembley Stadium, let there be rock, and you’ll soon be on the Highway To Hell.
Featuring Gareth Tookey (vocals), Owen Jones (lead guitar), Mark Stratton (rhythm guitar, vocals), Loz Hawthorne (bass guitar, vocals) and Steve Hopgood (drums).
With Stated Quo you get exactly what it says on the tin! Faithfully sticking to the formula that has made the Quo such an enduring national treasure, these boys embrace the heavier side of an immense back catalogue - featuring the hits, live favourites and rarely played album tracks - and produce a live show worthy of the original frantic four.
Featuring Mike Grady (vocals, lead guitar, harmonica), Jimmy Glynn (vocals, rhythm guitar, harmonica), Simon Fenton (vocals, bass guitar) and Al Bowerbank (drums).
Hazzard County are guaranteed to give you a great night out with their good time southern boogie rock, covering the broad spectrum that this rockin’ genre encompasses, from the timeless Allman Brothers to ZZ Top and from the man in black Johnny Cash to legends Lynyrd Skynyrd. This band rock hard, play hard and ensure that their audiences do just the same.
Featuring Alan Dominey (vocals, guitar), Dave Starr (vocals, guitar), Tony Purdue (bass guitar) and George Francis (drums, vocals).
You’d be forgiven for thinking that with an average age of just 15, Blind White Shadows wouldn’t know their riffs from their licks. But citing influences such as Zeppelin, Sabbath and Avenged Sevenfold, you’d clearly be wrong. Playing a mix of bona-fide rock “classics” and a few of their own self-penned numbers, this young band will be opening the show.
Featuring Natasha Phillips (vocals), Aiden Redshaw (guitar, vocals), Toby Upfold (guitar), Luc Gibbons (bass guitar) and Liam Brown (drums).
Four great acts, all for just £8 - a good old fashioned classic rock show for a good old fashioned ticket price!
