Ranked amongst the top ten stand-ups in Britain by The Independent, Ian Stone is one of the most talented topical acts and comperes in the country. Edgy and provocative, with an easy-going manner and self-depreciating style, Ian is at great ease bantering with an audience.

Ian has performed all over the world. He is also a regular on Five Live's Fighting Talk. "Seriously funny" The Guardian.

The first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award, Karen Bayley was also a BBC New Comedy Awards Showcase final and Babycham Funny Women finalist, all when launching onto the UK comedy circuit in 2003. Brummie Karen has quickly picked up a whole host of rave reviews, comedy awards and references from her peers. Her material surprises with inspired and sparkling punchlines, with comic timing that is rarely less than brilliant. "She blew my socks off".BBC Tees.

Kate Lucas is a unique act who combines a warm, self-deprecating persona with a dark dry wit that that runs through her songs. She combines catchy, original melodies with sophisticated lyrics and a fresh delivery style to present her playfully bitter musings on life. Kate has headlined for clubs like the Comedy Cafe and Jongleurs.

Our MC is Laura Lexx, one of the most effortless comedians making a splash in the comedy scene today. She indulges her audience with childish glee and attention, and her shows are never the same twice. A finalist at both the Paramount and Chortle student comedy finals, she's "a true pro" and guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. "Next generation Lucy Porter" Chortle.co.uk.

This night is part of Cancer Research's 'Stand Up to Cancer' campaign. There will be various fund raising activities taking place during the evening.
