In 2005 Luke was nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award as half of Toulson & Harvey. In 2007, after a switch to stand-up, he won the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Final. In 2013 his solo show 'I DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT MY KIDS' was selected as one of the Top 10 Comedy Shows at the Edinburgh Fringe by Amused Moose.

Luke has written for Stand Up For The Week (Ch4) and Stand Up For Sport Relief (BBC1), directed an Edinburgh Best Newcomer nominated show, and appeared on Russell Howard's Good News.

★★★★ "the best thing I have seen in the Free Fringe this year. Toulson is hilarious from beginning to end...laughs came so thick and fast that the audience was struggling to catch their breath...Incredible technique and timing, Toulson is a treat." (Rory Mackenzie - Broadway Baby)

★★★★ "Toulson is a comic that deserves a higher profile than he already has as he is a definite class act."
(Geoff Evans - one4review)

★★★★ "Toulson clearly has a bright future ahead of him." (John-Paul Stephenson - Giggle Beats)

"a gimmick-free hour of rock-solid comedy"
(Steve Bennett - Chortle - Feb. 2012)

★★★★ "It will have you laughing from the off-set and will guarantee that you are smiling when you leave."
(Juliette Behr - Cream of the Fringe)

Winner of the 2013 Bedford Comedian of the Year Award Mark’s reputation is steadily growing on the UK comedy scene. Having performed at multiple Edinburgh festivals, worked for some of the most respected promoters in the UK and driven himself to the edge of despair; he is certainly an act to watch. Exploring topics such as work, home life, sexuality and the fact that his brother is apparently ‘better’ than he will ever be; Mark paints a picture of a young man whose life hasn’t quite worked out the way he wanted it to.
"Mark Cram’s act was a masterclass in comedy design; his story of sibling rivalry with his high-achieving military brother had an unexpected revelation dropped in halfway through, and wrapped up its threads beautifully by the end. Almost certainly pared down for the competition from a longer act, he left me wanting to know more about him and his family." - Newbury Weekly News
"Mark’s blokey style went down well as he told anecdotes about his family. His observations about his sexuality got a good response too, as he referred to himself as “heterosexually challenged” rather than “gay”." - West Sussex County Times
"A deliciously naughty night’s entertainment which included an extremely popular performance from MK’s own Mark Cram, with an equally colourful background." - Milton Keynes Citizen
