Octobers show in Bishop’s Stortford is once again a staggering line-up of talent.
We are delighted to be able to bring the remarkable skills of one of the world’s finest magicians to the tiny stage of The Half Moon.
One of the pioneers of alternative comedy Philadelphian John Lenahan featured on the BBC1 show ‘Secrets of Magic’ and his own BBC2 series ‘Stuff The White Rabbit’ was a massive success. He has appeared as a guest on shows such as Celebrity Squares and TGI Friday and was the voice of ‘Talkie Toaster’ in Red Dwarf.
He has toured with Jack Dee, Lenny Henry and Victoria Wood and was once named ‘Street Magician of the Year’ by Time-out.
He is however probably most famous for being the first person in 85 years to be expelled from The Magic Circle after exposing the 3-card trick on ‘How do they do that?’
He was the first recorded person to do magic on The Internet and has made people levitate, airplanes disappear and read thousands of minds.
He will in short freak you out !
John is joined by two of the rising stars of the comedy world. Ash Frith and Simon Salmon.
Ash Frith has in a remarkably short space of time become one of the most sought after comedians in the country. As a support to Russell Kane and Terry Alderton his likeable persona has seen him wowing crowds all over the UK and beyond.
Simon Salmon has an awkward personality that will weirdly force you to watch. His last performance at the Half Moon left a whole room full of grinning people staring at the stage trying to work out exactly what they had just seen.
The show will be once again hosted by John Mann who will be giving away tat including the obligatory ‘celebrity’ clock
