Phil Harrison and John Mansell both moved to Crete in 2003 having played music in the UK since forever.
They were pleasantly surprised to find each other living there and have since become something of an institution in Western Crete with a loyal following of both Greeks and ex-pats. This year they produced their third CD of original material together.
Their music is diverse, to say the least, probably borne out of the 'child of the 60s' love of inclusion and experiment.
Phil's career has involved collaboration with all sorts of other artists including The Scaffold, Diana Rigg, Peter Hamill, Barbara Dickson, Jake Burns & Dave Knopfler (not to mention the English Scouts and Guides Orchestra). He was also a member of the UK band 'The Korgis', who had a couple of hits in the early 80's.
John is a multi-talented instrumentalist who has been picking banjo since he was no bigger than one himself, playing lead guitar since he discovered girls and bouzouki since he discovered Greece.
