Faure's elegant and subtle Requiem is a firm favourite with audiences today and George Shearing will astonish and delight you with his setting of Shakespearean songs and sonnets. Also using Shakespearean text,you will enjoy John Rutter's Birthday Madrigals, which were composed for George Shearing’s 75th birthday.
