Now in its seventh year, the WeGotTickets MCA has provided a launch pad to superstar acts like Frisky and Mannish (2009 Finalists), Abandoman (2010 winners) and Jay Foreman (Best Newcomer 2009 and has toured with Dave Gorman) and created a thriving independent platform to celebrate the artform that is musical comedy. Since 2009 the competition has also played host to stars of the genre such as DAVID O'DOHERTY, BO BURNHAM, RUBBERBANDITS, MITCH BENN, PIPPA EVANS, TOM BASDEN, ISY SUTTIE, MR B THE GENTLEMAN RHYMER and many more.
The Final of the 2015 WeGotTickets MCA will see six finalists who have progressed through a series of heats in London battle it out at the Bloomsbury Theatre on April 10th to win the musical comedy crown of this prestigious competition. Cassetteboy are best known for their YouTube videos. Their smash hit The Bloody Apprentice, in which Alan Sugar talks about sh*tting frying pans, has been watched four and a half million times. They have also tackled David Cameron, Downton Abbey, Harry Potter, and The Only Way is Essex. A recent video in which Prince Andrew described the Queen's org*sms was banned by the BBC. Cassetteboy have over 80,000 YouTube subscribers and 21,000,000 total video views.

Rachel Parris is an award-winning comedian, and also musician, actor and improviser. As a musical comedian she has reached the finals of national competitions including Leicester Square New Comedian and Hackney Empire New Act of The Year as well as being placed runner-up in the Funny Women Awards and the Musical Comedy Awards. She was named in the Independent as their Bright Young Thing for comedy in 2014, nominated for a Chortle award, listed on the Huffington Post as one of their Funniest 50 Women on Twitter, and was TimeOut's Critics Choice, with her solo comedy show. She is also an experienced improviser, and is a founding member of the award-winning improv comedy show Austentatious. She performed her debut solo show The Commission at the Edinburgh Fringe last year, to great acclaim and has recently completed a run at the Soho Theatre. She appeared in the highly anticipated IT Crowd Special on channel 4, which was nominated in the Bafta Awards, and she presented Game of !
