Stan Tracey CBE is a figurehead for several generations of musicians. Stan’s music has kept on flowing from the early days with Ted Heath, through the period in the ‘60s as Ronnie Scott’s house pianist, to leading his own trios and big bands. In 1965 he made a recording with tenor sax giant Bobby Wellins. This suite of pieces inspired by Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood was voted as all-time favourite British jazz album by Jazz UK magazine.
