The search for the mortal remains of Richard III, Englandís last Plantagenet king, made history and captured headlines across the world. Richard Buckley is co-director of the University of Leicesterís Archaeological Services and was project manager for the Greyfriars Project. He will talk about the discovery of Greyfriars in the context of medieval Leicester, explaining why the archaeologists chose to dig where they did and giving detail about the excavations.
