The Walk of Fame's hugely popular annual anniversary concert commemorating the Rolling Stones Birmingham debut at King's Heath's old Ritz Ballroom.
On 14 September 1963 The Rolling Stones played one of their first ever gigs outside London and their first ever in Birmingham at King's Heath's Ritz Ballroom. The next evening they returned to London to play before thousands at the Royal Albert Hall! When they returned to Birmingham the following year they appeared at the much larger venues of the Hippodrome and Town Hall.
Satisfaction is guaranteed as top local musicians will perform their favourite Rolling Stones songs in a 3 hour session. Expect to hear interpretations of early blues covers like "Little Red Rooster" as well as Jagger/Richards penned hits like "Paint It Black" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash".
This event is held in Fletchers Bar (7 York Road)
