The acclaimed musician Frank Turner was born in Bahrain, and following a move to England, received an Eton education through a local scholarship; but to use his words, “let’s cut to the chase”. The former Million Dead front man started playing in bands aged twelve, “after getting into Iron Maiden”, and has since been proclaimed a genius by everyone from Steve Lamacq to The Sun. Since the breakup of punk outfit Million Dead, Turner has notched up over two hundred solo performances, touring with Biffy Clyro, Jonah Matranga and performing bedroom gigs with Jamie T
