Following the release of his long awaited CD New View, bassist Chris Laurence brings an all-star quartet to The Y. The quartet’s instrumentation produces a relatively unusual sound with Laurence’s intensely melodic but propulsive playing, Ricotti's vibes imparting a soft, lustrous feel to the music and Parricelli's alternation between electric and acoustic guitars bringing additional textural variety to the mix.
