Take a step back in time and experience Gospel music camp meeting style as the Low Country Boys bring their unique blend of Old Scots, Ulster Scots and Hillbilly/ Appalachian music to Omagh. Hailing from the Ards Peninsula with its close affinity with Scotland and the early lowland settlers from Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway the Boys have preserved an eclectic mix of traditional Scottish and Ulster Gospel music and lyrics, intertwined with the bluegrass influence of the first Scots Irish emigrants to the New World America of the 18th century. Appearing in support are award winning Dunloy Accordion Band. This event will surely be a spiritually uplifting experience as the gospel is presented in its simplest form in music and song in the Ulster Scots dialect. Ye'll na want tae g'hame.
