Dick Gaughan has been at the cutting edge of Scottish music for over three decades. His vocal prowess, instrumental virtuosity and intelligence as a composer are legendary. He is a troubadour on the road, taking his songs and music around the world, from Catalonia to Canada. The common thread running through all of Dick Gaughan's work is his passion for social justice and telling it like it is. He lists his influences as everything ranging from Davy Graham to Big Bill Broonzy, Bertolt Brecht to Robert Burns, and Karl Marx to Groucho Marx.
