Event information

FENECH SOLER are a synth-and-guitars three piece and produce a sound reminiscent of French dance favourites Cassius and Phoenix with Duran Duran-esque vocals thrown in for good measure. Vocalist Ben said: 'When you're packing delay-drenched guitars, sharp basslines and a vocal that incites you to get the hell up and dance, there's little else you need for a good night out.' Believe him.
Like it or hate it, this is CHINCHWOO. You will hear fused sounds of reggae, rock, soul, experimental, dance, pop... to be honest there are many influences. Angelina's vocals are reminiscent of Kate Bush and Bjork, but with an obvious individual flair, comparable infact to none. There is no denying this is a fascinating combination.
As with most bands, THE DIRTY SKIRTS are not fans of pigeon-holing their music ('we're not pigeons'), but their sound is steeped in an alternative rock tradition stretching back some fourty odd years. Think Pink Floyd, David Bowie, John Lennon, Talking Heads, The Pixies, Jane's Addiction, The Cure and many more. Theirs is a mixture of pop, punk and rock, with a solid dose of electronica thrown in for good measure. The Dirty Skirts are clearly not scared of hooks, quirk, humour, and riffs, all of which are belted out over their soaring melodies.
Rock n Roll East Londoners, THE BIBELOTS are a brilliant live act with great indie rock tunes with dance influences and Brit pop tendencies.
