Ian came to the club about one year ago with the great Cubana Bop. His wonderful tenor playing grabbed everyone that night and we felt it was almost compulsory to get the guy back. Based in Brighton, Ian is a central figure on the jazz scene on the south coast where he works with so many fine musicians. Currently, he is playing in John Donaldson's new quartet, works regularly with Latin jazz dudes, Cubana Bop and pianist Mark Edwards.

An excellent player, at home blowing over Cuban grooves or standards, whose star is in the ascendant.
