KAY GRANT, EDDIE PRÉVOST & CAROLINE KRAABEL
An exceptional new improvising trio featuring AMM percussionist Eddie Prévost, saxophonist-composer Caroline Kraabel of Shock Exchange and Mass Producers, and vocalist Kay Grant - whose A-Z collaborations range from Alex Ward to John Zorn.
Prévost's practice of heuristic dialogue, Kraabel's focus on listening and attention to the acoustic space, and Grant's consideration of her voice-triggered electronics as an instrumental component rather than a privileged expressive vehicle, combine in an abstract yet visceral music with a powerfully subtle emotional impact.
