New album Happy Birthday sees Hey Colossus further spear great trundling rafts of noise and sub-surface megaphonic vocals into a fearless partnering of doom, sludgecore overdrive and a generous amount of motorik linearity. Intense is an overused description, but Hey Colossus deserve it.
