Covers stars of iPod User magazine and with a split single out on Cranky Girl records with GST cardinals, The Fades keep on partying, and Christmas is as good a time as any to join in the fun with this razor-edged band.
They seem to have melded what is a very old school sound to the new school of punk-garage, and this is what gives them the edge - XFM

HELMHOLTZ RESONATORS (London)
Mysterious musical mathematicians who celebrate the successful experiment of capturing sound on a black plastic disc which is issued by the earthlings at Death Records.
Not much is known about the quartet of Carlton Breezy, Garland Vanderbilt, Chladni Plates with Vandamme Laudenkleer, though Marc Riley recently lured them into the studio for an out-there BBC 6 Music session.
