The Local is, well, utterly humbled to present one of our favourite artists of all time in a sneaky little exquisite show at the uber artsy new venue Cafe Oto.
Acclaimed Gallic chanteuse Françoiz Breut sounds impossibly exotic to the non-French speaking Englishman, with sultry and sexy vocals transporting the listener on a cinematic journey. Collaborations with French singer-songwriter, Dominique A and with yet more highly-regarded artists such as Yann Tierson and Joey Burns from Calexic, and Herman Dune have positioned Breut as some kind of enigma. We're sure that this show will go some way to opening FB up to a wider appreciation.
Promoting new album “A l’aveuglette”, with surprises tucked into each of its fourteen songs, this show will prove an exiting and intimate way for Breut's army of devoted fansto enjoy the new songs, and alsothe best setting for necomers to this most treasurable of artists.
