Talc - the band described by Bill Brewster as "the bastard offspring of the Bonzo Dog Doodah Band and Steely Dan caught in a love clinch at the Oasis Swimming Baths with Joan Collins circa 1975" - play their debut gig at The Luminaire on the back of the release of their second, critically acclaimed concept album 'Licensed Premises Lifestyle' (Wah Wah 45s) which was featured in The Guardian's 'Top Albums of the Year by Hot Artists' this month.
