Night at the Seaside.
An evening exploring and showcasing a mix of some of Brighton's lovely folk and acoustic performers. Brighton based Mary Hampton has invited a fantastic selection of guests from her home town along for a evening of music.
Featuring:
The Laish Quartet, an integral group in the Wilkommen Collective, Brighton and London's independent folk community.
Ben Paley, Brighton based fiddle maestro, teams up with his father, Tom Paley, a renowned multi-instrumentalist and pioneer in the first "Folk Revival" (and keen supporter of the Magpie's Nest, often to be seen pickin his banjo).
Jo Burke - fiddle player and singer, appearing with a selection of her own, and new, material
and of course Mary Hampton herself!
