MISTY'S BIG ADVENTURE (Birmingham)
Our favourite octet return to the Windmill after a little wait and we're super-excited to welcome them back as they are one of the most fun bands you'll see.
Orchestrally weird and lyrically sardonic, they've been invited on tour by such hitters as Jeffrey Lewis, The Magic Numbers and Guillemots and a recent single 'Fashion Parade' featured none other than Noddy Holder.
Plus, don’t forget they have a multi-blue-handed dancing, er, dancer called Erotic Volvo who is credited on the album as providing moral / ethical standards and is better than Bez ever was.

AN HORSE (Australia)
Pay attention to this one! An Horse are a boy-girl duo who write songs with an immediacy that people forgot to do since, oh somewhere around 1997. They've just completed a tour with Silversun Pickups an we just nabbed them for a gig before they go on to Planet famous or something.
Listen to the myspace tracks; they're rather amazing.
'Most of the tracks on Rearrange Beds build to anthemic choruses that practically beg for sing-alongs– and the scores of disaffected teens and twentysomethings required to sing them. And when you can turn your own moment of catharsis into somebody else’s, hey, you must be doing something right.'

YNGVE & THE INNOCENT (London)
Born in Kaiserslautern, West Germany, Yngve (pronounced Ing-vuh) moved to Ireland in the eighties as a kid. After a few years on the Irish circuit, he's moved to London and assembled a fine band to flesh out his folk-acana soul sounds.
'..shades of early Bright Eyes and David Kitt...manages to draw the listener in with his wistful vocals and stripped back guitar hooks.' Hot Press magazine

MILK KAN (London)
Following a spate of gin and juice-fuelled sortees onto our stage, Milk Kan just keep on cemeneting their status as a firm crowd favourite. They've recently gone drinking, sorry touring, with Hayseed Dixie and even blagged Dolly Parton to sing on a single. Now stripped down to the core duo of Scrappy Hood and Jimmy Blade they warm up for some festival appearances with a new drum machine. File under hiphop, folk, punk, gin and lager.

SUPERMAN REVENGE SQUAD (Croydon)
..is one bloke from the edge of London called Ben, and an acoustic guitar whose recently supported people like Jeffrey Lewis, the Wave Pictures and Paul Hawkins & Thee Awkward Silences.
'A very sharp lyricist indeed… Absolute genius!'– Tom Robinson on Radio6 Music
