Continuing their highly successful 2009 tour ” Emily Remembered”, the only two female gigging jazz guitarists in the country join forces to pay tribute to the late great New York jazz guitarist Emily Remler, who tragically died of heart failure at the age of 32 in 1990. Featuring various combinations of musicians and line ups they perform music arranged and written by Emily, as well as their own compositions and jazz standards. Guitar duo, poetry, quartet and quintet, swinging jazz, hard grooving funk/fusion originals and well known jazz standards all combine to make this a very enjoyable evening of great music.
