Afghanaid is a unique British charity dedicated to improving the lives of ordinary Afghans. We have worked tirelessly in Afghanistan for 25 years through war, ethnic conflict and oppression, in some of the most remote rural provinces providing assistance for people in hardship and distress.

Afghanaid works alongside poor and marginalised Afghans to increase their chances and capabilities to enjoy sustainable and fair economic and social development. We currently work with over 500,000 adults and children, focusing on long term sustainable development. Our projects focus on improving livelihoods and human security.
