Brian Willoughby worked with Mary Hopkin before joining the Strawbs, with whom he spent twenty-six years as lead guitarist. Having heard and met singer and songwriter Cathryn Craig, who had previously recorded with the likes of The Righteous Brothers, Tom Paxton, Emmylou Harris and Josh White, he decided to concentrate his musical talents on the present partnership. And what a partnership! Sublime guitar work and simply one of the finest female voices around, all presented with an appearance of such ease and apparent lack of effort that you know they must have worked for many hours to make it so, and all with a warmth and intimacy with their audiences which is a joy to part of. A class act.
