All the way from Brighton, the mighty Samsara have been playing to packed audiences at festivals across the UK this summer. The Undercover Hippy and band have been a summer festival highlight for many this year. Mixing acoustic folk reggae vibes with political insight, crowd participation, and oodles of improvised silliness, these guys are always guaranteed to impress. First ever appearance with full band in Bristol!

'Old School Tie bastardise genres as if the very word doesn't exist. The lucid tribal grooves soaked with layers of trance inducing guitar give Mystery Sound Playground a cathartic grace- an enchanting listen.'

With a voice that can make grown men cry, Sam Lindo is fast becoming one of the most inspiring singers Bristols Soul/Jazz scene has to offer. Accompanied by a group of some of bristols best musicians, she is set to grace us with a fantastic performance that simply cannot be missed.

The Compadres are one of bristols best loved latin bands. Funky basslines, Sanata-esque guitar solos and laid back latin grooves.

Tom Bellamy is one of Bristols most promising new singer songwriters, already developing a dedicated following. His music is beautiful and haunting and yet still visceral and direct. His masterful guitar playing combined with spellbinding lyrical storytelling and a unique and enchanting voice make this an act to savor. Come and see him before he get's signed...

"Bolan-esque in stature and talent he has the potential of a major league songwriter and performer. His first album "Ephphatha" hints at the genius lurking. Painfully shy and self-effacing until he gets on stage when he is possessed by the demons of jazz, soul and blues." BARRS Fest programme 2009.
