Event information

A really fantastic double bill with two of the best live bands in London today playing rock in the tradition of great British rock groups.

Saint Jude, described by legendary Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey as a "Modern day Janis Joplin fronting The Faces", who almost sold out the 100 Club on November 5th return for what will be a regular monthly residency with special guests each month.

Their November show at the 100 Club had a stellar crowd including Jimmy Page & Korean classical piano and jazz mega-star Younee. Jimmy Page also made their Royal Albert Hall show and Ronnie Wood jumped up and played with them at a recent Paradise Club gig. Pete Doherty personally invited them to support Baby Shambles at their Rhythm Factory residency and Mike Scott and The Waterboys invited them to support them on their UK Tour.

Fuelled by their love of vintage Rock n Roll and playing live, Saint Jude are ready to spread their rock n roll gospel to the world..........

" ... 70's southern psychedelic rock, hard and catchy enough to make even the strongest non-believers question their morals..." Blub Magazine

"The most beautiful front woman in London.....superstars in waiting.....if you happen upon Saint Jude do youself a favour and stick around" Music Truth

Saint Jude's debut album "Diary of a Soul Fiend" will be released early next year.

Their special guest for this show is Billy Franks who after treading the boards of London's pubs and clubs for nearly three decades first a leader front man for 80's rock band The Faith Brothers and more recently as a singer songwriter fronting his own band and suddenly finds himself rock's new, must-see star. His gig last June at the Shepherds Bush Empire was attended by a list of famous faces most notably was long time fan and friend, Prince Harry.

The music loving Prince has slowly been introducing his own circle of friends to the man the music press have dubbed Britain's answer to Bruce Springsteen..

Billy was also recently asked to perform an acoustic set for Tom Jones, Natalie Imbruglia and The Killers after their Hyde Park show and even had an independent movie entitled "Tribute This" http://www.tributethis.com/ made about him.

This will be a truly great night of British Rock and will also feature the top Soho DJ Boris McNab.
