Winners of the 2010 Bluegrass Artist of the Year at the 2010 East Coast Music Awards (ECMA's) this 6-piece band of young Prince Edward Island musicians makes it’s first visit to the UK for appearances already confirmed at The Wickerman Festival, Warwick Folk Festival, Larmer Tree Festival, and the Americana SummerTyne Festival in Gateshead. Plus a recording for Bob Harris’ Country programme on BBC R2 which Bob immediately confirmed after seeing the band perform at the ECMA’s.*
The Grass Mountain Hobos inject new life and humour into bluegrass music, they’re a tremendously charismatic band certain to win many new fans wherever they play. Their fiddle player alone is worth the price of a ticket.
