New outfit from former Broken Family Band frontman/songwriter Steven Adams. Continuing to create the 'gracefully witty' (Mojo), 'bold and lovely' (Guardian) and 'truly remarkable pop music' (NME) that attracted such a dedicated cult following for TBFB, Adams has assembled a crack squad of like-minded pop enthusiasts; Melinda Bronstein (Absentee, Wet Paint), Matt Ashton (The Leaf Library, Saloon) and The Amazing Michael Wood.
Adams - the man Kim Fowley once described as 'Dennis Wilson and Lou Reed's child' - released an folky solo record under the name 'The Singing Adams' a few years ago, but this is something altogether noisier and more joyful. Singing Adams got together in January 2010 and played their first shambolic shows a few weeks later. They're playing the main stage at Green Man festival this year, as well as End Of The Road and a handful of other dates.
