Event information

Marco Fatichenti was born in Italy in 1980, studied with the world–renowned Spanish pianist Joaquin Achucarro, and is now resident in London. He has given recitals and concertos in Madrid, Bilbao, Barcelona, Dublin and London, and has just been awarded a Sir Georg Solti Foundation Scholarship, a second recording contract, and recitals and concertos with Yan Pascal Tortelier and Soloists of the Philharmonia at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.

He and his friend Mariangela Vacatello play music by Scarlatti, Schumann, Feruccio Busoni’s spectacular Variations on a Theme of Chopin, and music for Piano Four Hands.
